Dario Gentile Edelweiss has always been a symbol of passion towards the mountain. Every nation that inhabits the alpine area calls it in its own way. For the Slovene people is “Planika” their edelweiss. This web site is my tribute to the magic world of high altitude which enchanted me from the first time I encountered it. It was exactly there, in the eastern part of the Alps, in the Slovenian Julian Alps. The idea to create this web site is a way to share with others and to convey them all my passion for the mountain.
